Xtreme Karting held the fourth round of the 2006 Cadet Championship on Sunday 30th April.
After a series of exciting heats, the 13 drivers progressed though to the finals, based on points scored from their finishing position in each heat.
John Hill won his second championship round in a tense and exciting final. John started in pole position and led throughout the race, although Heather Laurie, who started third on the grid, almost got past him in an exciting overtaking manouvere but had to settle for second place as John managed to hold on to first place!
Closely following behind and almost taking advantage of the battle for the lead was Ross Agnew, who finished in third place after starting second on the grid. In fourth place was Hayden Walker, who had completed some fantastic overtaking manouveres in the heats to start 4th on the grid, finishing in fifth was Adam English, sixth Sheryl Hillhouse and in seventh Carl O'Brien.
In the B final Jordan MacLean took the win, finishing in second was Elliot Griffiths and coming through to finish in a fantastic third place after dropping to sixth at the start was Ryan Stronach.
Congratulations to John for clinching his first Cadet GP Championship win, clinching a valuable 100 points!
