The eighth round of the 2006 Xtreme Karting Cadet Championship was held on Sunday 27th of August.
After racing in 4 heats, 17 drivers progressed through to the finals, based on points scored from their finishing position in each of the heats.
John Hill returned to his winning form with some of his best driving this year. John started in pole position after some great driving in his heats and lead comfortably throughout the final. In second place Bryan Webster held off Craig Arch for his best finish yet! Craig finished in 3rd with Elliot a close 4th. Adam finished in 5th place (top cadet kart) with stephen dropping to 6th.
Daniel Hannah won the B final for the 2nd time in a row, with Craig Pedan just behind in 2nd place. Third place went to Ross Mitchell who was racing in his first Grand Prix, and Grant Campbell was 4th. In 5th place was Craig Mitchell and Kameron was 6th (also his first GP).
The C final was won by Hayden, with Callum close behind. In 3rd was Stuart Hamilton, 4th Dean McKinnon and 5th Curtis English.
