What is Xtreme Karting?
Xtreme Karting is an Indoor Go Karting centre that is designed specifically to provide adult (aged 16+) and cadet (aged 10 – 16) drivers with a genuine racing experience.
After a full safety briefing on the karts and circuit, you’ll get the chance to race expertly engineered karts on a professionally designed track.
At barely an inch off the ground, the feeling of speed has to be experienced to be believed!
Who can race?
For the adult practice or race events you need to be aged 16+ to participate.
For the cadet sessions you need to be aged 10 – 15 years old.
Please note that height restrictions do apply, and the track marshals will ensure that you can control the kart before leaving the pits.
You do not need a driving licence to participate.
Is it Safe?
Xtreme Karting is a member of the National Karting Association. The NKA sets the safety requirements for indoor karting circuits and includes an annual inspection to ensure compliance.
Safety is inherently designed into Xtreme Karting:
- The track barriers meet the strict NKA guidelines
- Before getting into the karts, every driver has a full safety briefing which details the safety procedures on the track, the operation of the karts and an explanation of the event format.
- The karts are designed to meet the tough TUV safety criteria set in Germany, with a unique double-tube protection system.
- The karts are expertly maintained, this includes daily safety checks to ensure their reliability and safety before use.
- Our track marshals are professional and fully trained in safety procedures
- Our race director ensures the racing rules are enforced
Whilst any form of motorsport is dangerous, we minimise the risk by paying close attention to safety in our facility.
