Xtreme Karting held the second Grand Prix of the 2006 Cadet Championship on Sunday 26th February.
After a series of exciting heats, the 17 drivers progressed though to the finals based on points scored for their finishing position in each heat.
Following an exciting A final John Hill clinched the chequered flag to take maximum points for the February round, just ahead of Heather Laurie and Hayden Walker. Ryan Stronach finished 4th after completing the fastest lap of the day 20.11secs ! Sheryl Hillhouse did really well in her first GP, with a 5th place finish , although Ewan Paterson was chasing hard!
In the B final Craig Young came through from 3rd place on the grid, pipping Stephen Ellis on the last corner after they got caught up in some backmarkers. Elliot Griffiths finished in 3rd place.
The C final was won by Jordan MacLean. Ross Malcolm was 2nd , and Megan McLure in 3rd.
