The third round of the 2007 Xtreme Karting Cadet Championship was held on Sunday 25th of March.
After racing in 4 heats, 26 drivers progressed through to the finals (A/B/C and D finals), based on points scored from their finishing position in each of the heats.
Craig Pedan won the A final after holding off both Craig Mitchell and Bryan Webster for his first 2007 win!
Craig drove excellently in the heats, securing 1st place on the grid with 38 out of 40 points. Craig Mitchell started in 2nd, and Bryan Webster 3rd. The racing was extremely close, and following a stoppage after Adam english collided with the tyre wall, the last few laps were intense.
On the last lap Craig Pedan was overtaken by Craig Mitchell but managed to regain his 1st place, Bryan managed to take advantage of the situation to squeeze through into 2nd, edging Craig Mitchell out to 3rd.
Championship leader Craig arch was 4th, 5th Elliot Griffiths, Fraser Macsporran 6th and Adam English finishing in 7th.
The B final was won by pole position driver Hayden Walker, with Connor Rae close behind in 2nd place. Stafan finished in third, followed by Jamie, Stuart, Simon then Carl.
Stuart Burrell won the C final with Peter Henderson coming through from 4th on the grid to take 2nd place. Bryce was 3rd, followed by Andrew and David.
All the drivers in the D final drove well and improved thri times, Gordon finished first, with Max and Jack close behind. Ciaran finished in 4th place, with Jack 5th and Ardal 6th.
