The penultimate round of the 2006 Xtreme Karting Cadet Championship was held on Sunday 26th of November.
After racing in 4 heats, 17 drivers progressed through to the finals, based on points scored from their finishing position in each of the heats.
The new track provided some exciting racing - with lots of overtaking and good driving on display!
Craig Arch clinched his first win of the championship, after starting the A final on pole position and maintained his lead throughout the race to win. Elliot Griffiths maintained pressure throughout but couldnt find a way past and finished in second. Ross followed closely behind to finish third. After a minor coming together at the bottom of the bridge (after a good overtaking move by Bryan) Craig Pedan came through to finish in fourth, Hayden in fifth and Bryan dropped down to sixth.
The B final was won by John Hill, who clocked the fastest lap of the day, after overtaking Sheryl Hillhouse who finished in second. Fraser McSporran finished his first GP in third place - after a good mornings driving! Criag Mitchell had a fantastic race, coming through from sixth to finish in fourth with some excellent overtaking. Callum finished in fifth, and stuart dropped down to sixth.
The C final was won by Peter Henderson, who came through from third on the grid to win! Martin Comrie came through from fourth to finish in second, with Carl OBrian finishing in third, Adam dropping down to fouth after a first corner spin, and stuart finishing in fifth.
