The tenth round of the 2006 Xtreme Karting Cadet Championship was held on Sunday 29th of October.
After racing in 4 heats, 14 drivers progressed through to the finals, based on points scored from their finishing position in each of the heats.
This was the first round to be held on the new track, and provided some exciting racing action as the drivers got to grips with the new flyover and tunnel !
Bryan Webster clinched his first win of the championship, after starting the A final on pole position and maintained his lead throughout the race to win (with the fastest lap of the day 21.69secs). Elliot Griffiths pushed Bryan hard throughout, maintaining pressure throughout but couldnt find a way past and finished in second. Hayden Walker managed to hold off Ross Agnew and clinch third place, with Ross coming through from sixth on the grid to clinch an impressive fourth place. Craig Pedan came through from sixth to finish in fifth, with Stuart Hamilton and Stephen Moss finishing in sixth / seventh respectively.
The B final was won by Sheryl Hillhouse, closely followed by Adam English and Daniel Hannah who both gained places based on their starting grid positions. Craig Mitchell dropped down to fourth, closely followed by Carl Obrian, Curtis English and Lewis Brunton.
